StillWaters Counseling

StillWaters, a HeartWorks program, provides counseling to children, teens, adults, and families at the StillWaters office, local schools, and afterschool programs. Telehealth therapy and counseling may also be an option.

Our team of highly qualified therapists are able to treat depression, anxiety, grief, substance use, marital issues, problem behaviors, and other mental health issues. Anyone can make a confidential referral by calling our office at 252-745-4510, visiting our website, visiting the StillWaters office, or faxing us at 252-745-4511.

StillWaters accepts most insurances and can see those clients who are un-insured or under-insured through a contract with Trillium Health Resources. Children between the ages of six (6) and seventeen (17) who are involved with the criminal justice system can be seen and served without cost through a generous grant from Pamlico County’s Juvenile Crime Prevention Council.

All StillWaters therapists can see clients in the office or through teletherapy utilizing secure web-based technology. Most therapists see students in the local schools, after school programs, or at the StillWaters office in Bayboro.

Schedules vary from therapist to therapist; however, evening and weekend appointments are available. Most insurances are accepted and through a generous grant from Pamlico County’s Juvenile Crime Prevention Council, most children who are involved with the criminal justice system can be seen and served without cost.
